Milto leads IU’s hopes for 2019 season

A season ago, Indiana baseball thrived off its pitching staff.

The Hoosiers led the Big Ten in team ERA and finished second in strikeouts as right-handers Jonathan Stiever (5-6, 3.41 ERA, 97 K’s) and Pauly Milto (8-2, 2.03 ERA) each had career years.

As Indiana enters 2019, Stiever is on to the professional ranks after being drafted in the fifth round by the Chicago White Sox. Milto is gearing up for his senior season and is expected to be the Friday night starter. But the rest of the rotation is still in flux with the season opener against Memphis coming up quickly on February 15. Read more at thehoosiernetwork.com.
