What you did at IU: Contributed written articles and video entries to IUSportComm.com, co-hosted a weekly sports radio show for WIUX, and broadcasted live IU sporting events for WIUX.

What you do now: I’m a replay operator for ESPN.

What advice you have for sports media students: Surround yourself with people that care about and support you. When things got the toughest for me as a freelancer, my wife often told me things would get better. It took me nearly eight years to get to ESPN and I couldn’t have done it without the people I put around me.
