Years at IU: 2015-2019

What you did at IU: I called women’s basketball, volleyball, and did studio hosting.

What You Do Now: I’m a play by play broadcaster for ACC Network Extra and SEC Network Plus. I am the president of Ables Productions, a video, and photography production company. For the production side, I work as a replay operator at ACC Network, SEC Network, and Churchill Downs as well as graphics and camera operator.

Advice for sports media students:

1. Surround yourself with great mentors, family, and friends.
2. Listen to those people.
3. Think differently than people around you. Look for opportunities and angles in the industry, where others don’t.
4. Always be networking. The business is built on relationships.
5. Enjoy all of it.
