What I do now: studio host and producer for USA Today Network covering major league sports

My advice for media students: Be involved as much as possible! The more experience you have early on, the better. You can only get a leg up if you practice, put in work outside of the classroom, and make connections. You can’t just rely on your classes to get you a job!
