What he did at IU: I interned at the Bloomington Herald-Times for nearly two years, primarily covering the IU football and basketball teams.

What he does now: Indianapolis Colts and NFL enterprise writer for The Athletic, Colts analyst for WISH-TV and adjunct professor role at the Media School

What advice he has for sports media students: Read every day. Write every day. Ask questions you don’t know the answers to, and actually listen to the answers. Don’t ask “talk about” questions. Write stories you’d want to read. Be relentlessly curious and perpetually creative. And work you ass off.
